This week we premiered a new Torah episode: Vayigash, as told by Rabbi Sydney Mintz of Congregation Emanu El in San Francisco. And as if that was not cool enough, the Chernow Family of Atlanta, GA sponsored the episode, in honor of their son’s Bar Mitzvah. G-dcast was inspirational for them as they did “home school for Hebrew school” with a circle of 9 families in their home. (Yep, you can do that too. Read up here.)
It was wonderful to work with an old time friend of ours…and some new friends…on something so special. ENJOY.
I had the rare and delightful opportunity today to teach a community group made up of people who are not children. Congregation Beth Israel of Berkeley invited me to come present at “Nosh and Knowledge” – a lunch and learn opportunity for elders in the community.
I had the fabulous opportunity this past month to work with a group of exceptional middle school students and their parents at Adas Israel Congregation in Washington, DC where we learned about app design and some midrashim related to Parshat Noah.
